4. Plan Preparation Progress

Implementing the Local Development Scheme

The Melton Local Development Scheme (June 2017) can be viewed here.

The pre submission draft Local Plan was published in November 2016. Following a consultation on an Addendum of Focused Changes in July 2017, the Local Plan was submitted to the Government for Examination in October 2017. Examination Hearings are expected to take place from late January 2018. The timetable is still on target as set out in the LDS.
