Infrastructure Funding Statement

 

Melton Borough Council have published their second Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS) on 23rd December 2021.

Following amendments to the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations in 2019, Melton Borough Council has produced its second Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS). The IFS provides a summary of all financial and non-financial developer contributions activity for the previous financial. These statements are intended to help local communities and developers see how contributions have been spent and understand what future funds will be spent on, ensuring a transparent and accountable process.

The statements will be published annually and cover the previous financial period (April 1st to March 31st). 

It should be stated that, large-scale infrastructure including but not limited to educational facilities, highways, and waste are delivered by Leicestershire County Council. Consequently please look at their IFS for details on developer contributions for large-scale infrastructure.

Infrastructure Funding Statement 2023

Infrastructure Funding Statement 2022 - An error was identified on 23rd November 2023 in the IFS report 2022. In Appendix B it stated that the Police contribution of £30,711.55 for planning application 15/00178/FUL had been spent in full. £19,101.19 was spent of the £30,711.55 and £11,610.36 was not spent as of the time the IFS was recorded. This has now been amended (12/01/2024).
