What happens next...

All representations in the current Main Modifications consultation will be submitted to the inspector, and will be factored into the inspectors report.

A possible indicative scenario following submission (could change at any point):

  • After representations have been collated, the inspector considers them and then may call further hearings.

  • Once the inspector is satisfied with all the findings, he/she will submit a report to MBC.

  • The Melton Local Plan Working Group considers the report and then the Local Plan is adopted by Full Council
