Melton Local Plan Update Issues and Options (Regulation 18) Consultation

Melton Borough Council is consulting on the Melton Local Plan Update Issues and Options from Monday 6th November 2023 until Sunday 7th January 2024. See the notification statement for this regulation 18 consultation.

What documents are being consulted on?

The following documents are being consulted on:

Paper copies of these documents are available at Melton Borough Council Parkside Office reception, Melton Mowbray library and Bottesford library.

How do I make comments and how will they be used?

You can make comments by completing the online response form (accessed via https://www.melton.gov.uk/consultation). 

 

Alternatively, you can collect a paper response form from Melton Borough Council Parkside Office reception, Melton Mowbray library or Bottesford library. Paper response forms should be returned by post to Planning Policy, Parkside, Station Approach, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1GH.

Comments must be received by Sunday 7th January 2024.

What happens next? 

Following the consultation, the Council will collate comments and respond to the issues and options that are raised. Your comments will inform the options that the Council takes in updating the Melton Local Plan.

    • In person: Tuesday 21st November, in Council Chamber 1 at the Melton Borough Council Parkside offices, drop in any time between any time between 12noon-8pm

    • Online: Thursday 7th December, via Microsoft Teams (Join the event), join the teams event any time between 4pm-8pm

  • Watching our short online presentation video (and sharing it with others)

  • Emailing planningpolicy@melton.gov.uk with questions or to request a telephone call

  • Calling 01664 502 502 and ask to speak to a Planning Policy Officer
